the problem of arrogance and ignorance

I've been thinking today (based on an email that I got) about how some people are so adamantly set into their old interpretations that they have simply closed themselves off to knowledge. They have already made up their minds that they will not progress and evolve. They have made their peace with the fact that they are stuck.


I now better understand what made Socrates the wisest man in Greece. He was wise because he KNEW that he knew nothing.


It seems that it is the unwise who already have all the answers.
