If televangelists were more honest with their viewers they would differentiate between which donations go to "God," and which go directly into their own pockets. As it stands now, most of these hucksters belong in prison. But instead, thanks to insane political laws and uninformed people, they are getting away with it. 

If you are a Christian, and if you watch their television programs, please understand that  there is simply no way that Jesus would approve of what they are doing. Jesus would have told them to donate the money to charity (Matthew 19.21).
