The Curse of Oak Island on the History Channel has been an entertaining watch.

My own theory that is based on the evidence so far is that the island most likely contains treasure -- most likely in the form of holy relics from the Jerusalem that were obtained during the Crusades. It was most likely hidden there by the last of the Knights Templar, who were being persecuted by the Catholic church, hundreds of years ago.

I am not going to explain my reasoning here, but you will see what I mean if you watch enough episodes. 

The Why Files on Youtube have been doing a great job investigating strange topics that are usually related to the paranormal. If he can debunk something he will do so. But if he is unable to debunk it he will admit it. My biggest problem with the skeptics is that most of them hate being wrong and will refuse to go where ever the data-clues lead. It's good to see such clear thinking these days. I am not even sure that I agree with him a 100%, but it is nice to see someone at least trying to be reasonable.

I see that a skeptic from the New York Post has been attempting to discredit the Secret of Skinwalker Ranch televised investigation on the History Channel. I watched his videos to see if he could come up with some good points. The problem is that he left out so much information and instead chose to cherry pick a few straw man cases. It does not even look like he has watched every episode. I am sure that if I did a deep investigation of his investigation that I would be able to debunk many if not most of his accusations.  

Here are two good episodes that I would urge him and other skeptics to start with -- that is if they are too lazy to watch every episode, at least start with these two:
